Vasile Calixte Ion
Having graduated from Petroșani University, Romania, in 1995, Vasile Calixte Ion became a yoga instructor in 1993.
He came into contact with the first notions of yoga at the age of 12, through the book “Yoga for All” written by Nicolae Constantin Tufoi. He practiced certain yoga techniques in solitude during the Communist regime, as not many sources of documentation existed at the time. He really discovered yoga, however, and began his true spiritual practice with the opening of the MISA Esoteric Yoga School in Romania.
